Calm, confident, professional coaching in a safe, confidential space.

I specialise in supporting 40+ professionals in changing their relationship with alcohol. I coach people who would describe themselves as ‘middle lane drinkers’ – regularly drinking a wee bit too much and occasionally binging.

Apart from being a coach, I am also a qualified accountant. I have been in the industry for over 25 years, and I absolutely know and understand the pressures that professionals face. Regulation and compliance, ethics, client pressures, long hours, pandemics, working from home, the new normal… The list goes on!

In the UK, around 24% of adults regularly drink over the Chief Medical Officer’s low-risk guidelines, and 27% of drinkers binge drink on their heaviest drinking days.

I used to be one of them! A professional wanting to change my relationship with alcohol. And like you, I was tired of feeling tired, fed-up feeling fed up, functioning rather than flourishing, stuck in a rut not knowing how to lose the booze.

These days:

I eat and sleep better

I am as fit as I ever have been (resting heart rate of <50 bpm)

My relationships have improved

I am more present and mindful

I make better decisions and am more productive

This is where I come in! I know, I’ve been there!

I am not anti-alcohol. I do not set out to discourage you from drinking alcohol completely. It is your choice.

I will give you the benefit of my experience as a coach/mentor and from previously being a classic ‘middle lane drinker’. I will show you the tools to move forward and, if desired, provide you with accountability as you embark on a journey towards your best life.

While examining your reasons for having a poor relationship with alcohol, the focus of my coaching is not, ‘What is wrong with you?’ I focus on ‘What is right with you?’, what strengths you possess and how you can use those strengths to improve your relationship with alcohol, grow as an individual and, ultimately, live your best life.

You can’t go back and make a brand-new start, but you can start from now and make a brand-new ending.
